Farmer's Alliance Mural

Farmer's Alliance Mural
Farmer's Alliance Mural

This mural depicts a historically accurate street scene from 1910, and features the Farmer’s Alliance, which is the town’s oldest establishment. A visit inside the store itself (on which the mural is painted) feels like a trip back in time. I’ve been told that from a distance, people asking for directions have actually mistaken the road in the middle of the scene for a real one… I’m not sure if I believe that entirely, though… Completed June 2006; 70’ x 14’. Siler City, NC.
